马克村在东涌镇西部，南沙大道中段，下辖马克、滘尾两个自然村，名称即取自马克这个自然村；2020年度获评「广州名村」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子由何、郭二姓在清代开辟。1958年建马克大队，1962年与滘尾分立，次年又合；1984年设乡，1987年设村民委员会。[1][2]

文化与旧迹[edit]

村的粤剧团1960年12月成立，起初是大队文娱组，2002年10月改名马克粤乐社；醒狮队则组建于1956年。[2]村里曾有何生利农场及围馆（1926年建，农场约600亩）、永远糖厂（1944年建）和多座雕楼，多已在1950年代拆毁，1队的一座大屋建于1942年，现保存完整。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情介绍，全村面积4.9平方千米，耕地3462亩，1515户、5264人，工农业年总收入约1.2亿元，村内企业35家。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，马克果蔗列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2021年11月获「广州名村」称号；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」，并列入「2025年广东省“美丽庭院”特色村」。[1]
