地名与沿革[edit]
“万洲”二字取自万生和散洲东。村子由何、梁两姓在清代建成。1959年7月黄阁公社改隶中山，原属它的李沙、李同、同乐、洲份等队改入鱼窝头公社，归万洲村。村里原有海拔50米的沙梨岗，近年已取土挖平，改作工业开发区。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
据村情介绍，全村面积5.5平方千米，耕地4295亩，2692户，总人口6236人（户籍3786人，流动2450人）；工业企业约35家，涉及化工、五金、服装、金属等，农业种植花卉和香大蕉。[2]
荣誉[edit]
万洲村2020至2022年连续三年上榜淘宝村；2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之列。[1]
