鱼窝头社区是广州市南沙区东涌镇下辖的社区，前身是鱼窝头镇的居民委员会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

“鱼窝头”原作鱼虾窝：土地成陆之前，这一带水域是鱼虾聚集的地方，分别有“鱼窝”和“虾窝”之称。鱼窝附近地势略高，百年前已有耕沙的人聚居，被称作鱼窝头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

居民委员会1962年成立，原归鱼窝头镇；2002年8月起称鱼窝头社区居民委员会，2006年随鱼窝头一并划归东涌镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，鱼窝头社区被认定为「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月，被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
