瑞岭村在赤坭镇的西北部，山前大道赤坭路段与古树大道交汇处，面积约10.45平方千米，下辖20个村民小组，户籍人口3066人（百度百科）。[1][2]瑞岭盆景栽培已有一百多年历史，是岭南盆景的产地之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因附近多山岭、取祥瑞之意。村民清代从梅州平远县大拓镇迁来。土改的1952年并为瑞岭一村；1958年办瑞岭公社，下分4个大队，1962年四队归并成一个瑞岭大队；1984年改瑞岭乡，1986年底改瑞岭村委会，1987年3月起归赤坭镇人民政府管辖。[1]

盆景苗木是村里的主导产业：全村80%以上村民从事盆景苗木种植，种植面积超万亩，2022年产值超3亿元，村中以古树大道为轴形成“十里百园”市场核心区。[2][3]盆景艺术特点常被概括为苍劲、自然、飘逸、豪放。[1]瑞岭盆景2014年获评广州市非物质文化遗产，并建有盆景专业合作社、盆景大师工作坊等。[2][3]

  • 全国一村一品示范村镇（盆景苗木类，第十批，农业农村部2020年11月认定）。[1]
  • 第二批全国乡村治理示范村（2021年9月）；全国乡村特色产业亿元村（2021年10月农业农村部推介）。[1]
  • 2023年11月被列为广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村之一；2024年4月进入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]
