东华村是广州市花都区花山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域中部，距白云国际机场约4公里。[1] 1930年，当地九个自然村的华侨集资办了所小学，因各村都朝东，取名东华小学；1960年华中、华北两个大队合并成东华大队，村名定下来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村西与铁山村相连，东面、北面分别靠近洛场村和两龙一带，村域面积167.55公顷。[1] 当地光照充足，气候温和，雨量也足。[1]

经济[edit]

村分9个经济社，2009年末总人口2019人。收入靠出租土地和农业：靠近花都大道、花山大道的部分土地租给私营企业收租金，村民则多种蔬菜水果，或外出打工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东华大队由华中、华北两队于1960年合并而成；1983年队制取消，改设东华乡。1987年1月起设村民委员会，起初属花山区公所，3月转归花山镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会在2023年5月授予东华村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2024年11月，它被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
