东华村在电白区黄岭镇西北部，离镇政府4.5公里；辖31个村民小组，在册1036户、5269人，总面积8.22平方公里，耕地1591亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年东华与谭坡两个生产大队合并，仍叫东华生产大队；其后1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年再称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里一年种两季水稻，另种四季豆、红烟、黄皮和花生；2021年9月，东华村（产品为百香果）进入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]博雅地名网转述的村介绍称，村民每年外出务工的劳务收入近2000万元。[2]
村镇荣誉[edit]
2019年9月入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，2021年12月又获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
