茅岗村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，从广从七路（105国道）往东南方向入约6公里，面积6.1平方公里，下分5个村民小组，常住人口1200多人，约350户。村名由来是村建在寻岭山西麓一处形如牛的岗丘上，山岗长满供牛食用的茅草。[1]

经济[edit]

主要产业为花卉和水果种植，也有饲料制造和加工业。2022年，茅岗村被广东省农业农村厅认定为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（猴耳环）；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立茅岗大队，1984年改乡，1999年获白云区政府批复，改设为茅岗村民委员会。[1]
