新寨村是下都镇下辖的行政村，位于棉花滩水电站龙湖西岸，距镇中心约2公里。[1][2]

村北原有一处山寨，名为旧寨；1949年解放后改称新寨。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属来苏里，民国时设东兴保，属龙文乡。解放初与五峰合并，归鼎兴村农会分会；1952年又与五峰分开，单设新寨乡。1954年并入联河一带的新联乡，1956年改为新寨农业高级社。[3]

1958年10月起实行公社化，划为东风公社新寨大队。1959年并入吉安大队所辖，隶属中都公社；1961年又归中都工委下都公社。1965年四社并为中都公社，新寨复为大队。1968年设革领组，1980年改设管委会。[3]

1984年为中都乡新寨村民委员会，1986年随下都从中都乡析出，成为下都乡新寨村民委员会。2015年改乡为镇后，本村归下都镇。村委会驻地在旧寨自然村，全村分为12个村民小组。[3]

经济[edit]

沙田柚、烤烟、绿麻竹与生猪养殖是村中的几项支柱。村民在龙湖湖畔种植沙田柚和绿麻竹，并发展生猪养殖，形成「猪—沼—果」生态农业模式。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中现存清光绪年间诰制的「百岁牌坊」一座，据上杭县人民政府网，为县级文物保护单位，历经百年仍然屹立。[4]

文化[edit]

龙岩市农业农村局于2021年10月认定本村为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」（沙田柚）；福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年12月，村庄被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」（沙田柚）。[1]
