罗勒村是高要区莲塘镇西南部的行政村，四邻为白土镇、蛟塘镇、新桥镇和南岸，辖22个村民小组，人口共3582人（据博雅地名网）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年立罗勒乡，隶高要二区，当年8月划归高要六区；1955年转入莲塘区；1958年成立罗勒大队，隶新桥公社；次年改隶莲塘公社；1964年由罗勒大队分出罗勒、龙塘两个大队；1983年大队改为乡，1987年乡改为村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1998年复称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村在丘陵地带，山涌、地塱、田占去村域面积的三分之二，村民习惯连片种苦瓜、冬种马铃薯，养殖四大家鱼、罗非鱼和罗氏虾；村内有化工、甲板、灯饰等企业数家。[1]
