围安村是高要区莲塘镇西部的行政村，毗邻莲塘圩镇，距高要城区13千米，辖22个村民小组，人口共5100多人（据博雅地名网）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年建围安乡，隶高要六区；1955年转入莲塘区；1958年成立围安大队，隶新桥公社；次年改隶莲塘公社；1983年大队改为乡，1987年乡改为村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1998年复称村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村集体经济靠公开招标，把山地、鱼塘、竹园、商铺发包给外来投资者。山上种速生桉，水田种水稻，鱼塘养四大家鱼。[1]
