鹊巷村俗名客鸟巷，在隆都镇西南部，距店市约1公里，占地2.4平方公里。[1]相传村子始创于南宋末年，原名卢厝；后来林姓迁入，村里榕树茂密，喜鹊（当地叫客鸟）成群栖息，得名客鸟巷，1953年改称鹊巷。[2]同盟会会员林国英是这里的人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据传卢厝时期一次大堤决口，房屋被冲毁，村民大多死亡，幸存者逃往他乡，只留下地名；到明朝，林姓来此定居，才逐渐成村。[2]
此地起初隶海阳县的隆眼城都，明成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县；1949年10月划入澄海县隆都区；到1953年福洋、尾头、鹊巷、卢厝四地并成鹊巷乡；1956年并入樟籍乡；1959年设鹊巷生产大队；1984年1月设鹊巷乡。[1]

据村情资料，全村有住户1366户、5300人，耕地1395亩。[1]炒制猪肉皮是传统副业，产品销往国内外。[1]2009年人均收入3465元，其中工业产值4590万元、农业产值875万元。[1]
著名人物[edit]
林国英（1878至1951年），字伟侯，早年留学日本，因结识孙中山而加入同盟会；1907年，他受孙中山差遣赴汕头联络许雪秋等人，参与筹划黄冈丁未起义，在后方负责指挥。抗日战争期间，他变卖在安南的谷仓赈济难民。他所撰碑文《丁未潮州黄冈举义记》仍立在饶平县黄冈镇。[1][3]村中留有他的故居，清代建筑，占地约100平方米。[1]
