霞厝村是汕头市潮南区雷岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西北，距镇区约5公里，村老寨海拔386米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村建在高山上，常有云霞缭绕，寨门匾额刻有“霞厝”二字，故名。[1]明崇祯元年（1628年）建村。人民公社化后为下厝大队，1981年改霞厝大队，1983年划归龟山乡，1986年更名霞厝村委会，1992年编入龟山管理区，1999年复设村委会。[1]
老寨与革命遗址[edit]
村老寨海拔386米，据称在汕头市有人居住的村落里属最高之列，寨内特色民居为一处旅游景点。村内遗存红军被服厂、东江特委中医局、东江特委办公处和印刷厂等旧址。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
居民2603人，计473户，以蓝、吕、刘三姓为主；耕地334亩、山地4327亩，产荔枝、香蕉、青橄榄，以香蕉为主，还出产药材千层纸。[1]2023年5月被授予「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
