鹅地村是汕头市潮南区雷岭镇下辖的行政村，在镇区西南，与惠来县华湖镇相邻，距镇区2公里，辖鹅地、西坑两个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据说昔日地形像鹅，故名鹅地。明崇祯十七年（1644年），先祖从惠来县笔田村迁来。[1]1958年起为鹅地大队，1983年划归双溪乡，1986年一分为二，设鹅地、西坑两个村委会，1999年复设，2004年并为鹅地村委会。[1]
革命遗址与温泉[edit]
鹅地是革命老区村，遗存有彭湃演讲台。[2]村内有一处天然温泉，范围约100亩，博雅地名网称已与中信华南集团签订开发协议，计划总投资5亿元。[2]百度百科把鹅地温泉列为雷岭镇的景点之一。[3]
人口与经济[edit]
居民4131人，计796户，姓氏有彭、董、陈、黄等；耕地695亩、山地6933亩，荔枝种植约2500亩，香蕉近1000亩。[1]
