麻埔村是汕头市潮南区雷岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中部，辖麻埔、东盘两个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村址原是一片麻竹林，称麻竹埔，后简称麻埔。[1]建村时间为明洪武元年（1368年）。1958年起为麻埔大队，1983年划归麻埔乡，1986年一分为二，设麻埔、东盘两个村委会，2004年并为麻埔村委会。[1]
革命遗址与经济[edit]
麻埔是革命老区村，遗存有彭杨第八分校旧址。[1]居民3588人，计699户，以陈姓为主；耕地687亩、山地8990亩，种荔枝、油甘。2003年引进广东荔宝酿酒有限公司，生产荔枝酒、余甘子酒。[1]广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇名单于2026年3月认定，麻埔村在列。[1]
