洋坑村是汕头市潮南区雷岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，距镇区6公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间（1573至1619年），杨姓先祖在山坳坑沟处建寨，称杨公坑；“杨公”与“洋功”在潮汕话中读音相近，清末民国间改作洋公坑，后简称洋坑。[1]1958年起属功坑大队，1983年划归茶园乡，1986年更名洋坑村委会，1992年编入茶园管理区，1999年复设村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
居民1148人，计231户，以陈姓为主；耕地313亩、山地3816亩，种荔枝、红柿，并在建设玻璃油甘基地。[1]2022年1月，洋坑村为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
