历史沿革[edit]
村地势低洼，像一个牛屎凼（凼是方言里低洼小水塘的意思），客家话读音近「欧思凼」，故旧称欧思凼；1977年取谐音并求雅意，改称斯庄。[1] 清朝乾隆年间，开村始祖林锦元从中新镇余家坑迁此建村。[1]
早年欧思凼与今石迳村辖下的龟岭村合为一村，1951年土改时仍同在斯庄行政村之内；1956年建红旗高级社；1958年公社化后并入朱村公社的神岗大队；1976年斯庄改划宁西公社；1983年公社撤销，大队改称斯庄乡。[1]

博雅地名网载，村面积3平方公里，下分4个合作社，农业人口522人、119户，耕地657亩，以农业为主，村前有朱宁公路，北到中新镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，斯庄村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年4月进入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位的名单；2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
