历史沿革[edit]
清朝康熙年间，始祖罗奇锦从紫金迁到百湖建村。[1] 1949年以前，湖东、湖中、百湖等片村合为仙村的百湖乡；1951年土改后改称百湖小乡；1956年建3个初级社，次年联合成胜利高级社；1958年公社化，是仙村公社的百湖大队。[1]
1976年原百湖大队一分为三，百湖、湖中、湖东各立大队，隶宁西公社；1983年公社撤销，百湖大队改称百湖乡。[1]

博雅地名网载，村面积2平方公里，共6个经济合作社，即湾谷2个、田寮3个、环阁1个；到2010年10月，总人口1435人、350户，年人均收入4238元；方言以客家话为主，饮食以客家菜为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，百湖村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
