历史沿革[edit]
1951年土改后设白水乡，1956年成立白水高级社。[1] 公社化时的名称是白水大队，隶新塘公社；1976年转到永和公社；1983年公社撤销，大队改称白水乡；1987年乡改为村，成立村民委员会，隶属永和镇；2004年永和并入新塘，村亦归新塘镇。[1]

博雅地名网载，村里分6个经济合作社，有417户，常住2035人；全年的经济收入为1585万元，其中净收入1067万元；村里规划了休闲公园和3000多平方米的市场。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月，白水村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
