龙湾社区位于龙湾镇的镇街中心，社区名称即取自其驻地所在的镇街。社区的前身是1987年设立的扶合居民委员会，改称龙湾社区居民委员会的时间，博雅地名网的两个页面记载不一，两说并存。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立公社时，这一带属加益公社的扶合大队。1961年，扶合、旗山两个公社从加益公社分出，此地隶属扶合公社。[2]

1987年设立扶合居民委员会。社区页称，2015年10月随扶合镇改称龙湾镇，居委会也改称龙湾社区居民委员会，沿用至今；而镇概况则记镇名于2005年改为龙湾。两处日期不同，此处照录。[1][3]
