历史沿革[edit]

建国后，此地先后隶属船岗、集成两公社或区、镇的管理。1989年起为船岗镇的山口管理区，1999年改组为山口村委会；2003年属集成镇，2004年起归六祖镇山口村民委员会管辖，地名未改[1]。

文化[edit]

2019年9月，山口村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年11月，山口村被命名为「第五批云浮市民主法治示范村（社区）」；2024年3月，又被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」[1]。
