那洪在1958年公社化时成为公社，1964年降为大队，井桶、合山两处并入；此后1983年设乡，1987年称那洪村委会，1989年成立管理区办事处，1994年起划为中垌镇的那洪管理区，1999年改称村民委员会。[1]

据该站，村里主要经济作物为水稻、花生、蔬菜，特色收入来自淡水养殖、养猪业；上一年（未注明年份）农村经济总收入3460万元。[1]
村内石灰石矿藏较丰，是海螺水泥项目的矿区。[1]
