许村位于六祖镇境内。据博雅地名网，此地由许姓人士最早到此开村，因而得名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
建国初，此地划归新兴县第三区，曾称安南乡，之后又改属上沙区。1958年起设集成公社的许村大队，1983年后一度称许村乡。1989年6月成为集成镇的许村管理区，1999年改为许村村民委员会，2005年归入六祖镇[1]。
