历史沿革[edit]
1954年起归龙马乡，1959年起为山口大队，1984年起为山口乡，1987年2月起为村委会，1989年起为管理区办事处，1999年定名为山口村民委员会。[1]
2019年9月，山口村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
