历史沿革[edit]

1949年，此地属四区里洞乡的一个农会；此后并入新兴县里洞乡的旧村生产组。1955年改属公平区里洞乡，1958年2月归里洞乡人民委员会，同年11月编入里洞公社，属旧村大队。1968年起称红卫大队。1983年设红卫乡，归里洞区公所；1987年成为里洞乡下的红卫管理区；1993年随镇改称红卫管理区；1999年改设红卫村民委员会。[1]
