车滘村的名称可追溯到1958年设立的东方红车滘生产大队。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
吴、何、李、姚等姓迁入。1957年建乡；1958年改为东方红车滘生产大队，1983年成为乡人民政府，1987年定名车滘村委会，1989年变为管理区办事处，1999年重称村委会。[1]
建国前属建连乡，建国后归第三区，1958年属建城人民公社，1983年属建城区公所，1987年起属建城镇人民政府。[1]
2006年村委驻地设于白庙。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，车滘村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
