井根村是广东省江门市蓬江区杜阮镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北端，距镇政府约3公里，村委会在井根墟的桥头。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传村内有一口水井，井边长着大榕树，村民用井水煎榕树根治病见效，村名由此而来。[1]民国时期，井根一带属新会县第三区井根乡。1958年并入杜阮镇井根管理区的辖区，1961年起为井根大队。1984年改称井根乡，1988年再改称井根管理区，1994年设立井根村委会，沿用至今。2002年，杜阮镇划归蓬江区管辖。[1]
地理环境[edit]
东邻龙眠村，西南靠子绵村，西北与龙溪村相接。地域面积4.34平方公里，耕地1170亩，山林866亩。下辖14个村民小组，883户，3061人。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，2009年全村工农业总收入为56190万元；村、组两级集体经济收入合计190.92万元，农民人均收入10201元。[1]2026年，江门市农控集团与井根村合作建设「千亩现代农业产业园」，总投资超3500万元，用于种植杜阮凉瓜。[2]
文化[edit]
20世纪90年代，村里与镇教育办一起创办井根华侨中学，又把井根小学改建为叶蔼小学，新建叶蔼幼儿园。[1]
