新围村是广东省揭阳市揭东区月城镇下辖的行政村，地处月城镇与新亨镇、桂岭镇的交界处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落创于明朝。1950年属磐东五蔡乡，1958年并入磐东公社五蔡大队，1975年另设月城公社新围大队。[1]

1983年后为月城区五蔡乡的一部分，1986年设立村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地以粮食作物为主，池塘用于养殖，村集体经济基础较弱。[1]

村党支部曾组织党员研究发展思路，并发动村民、实业家和华侨捐资，修建道路、学校以及村标志物小公园等。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2017年10月将「第一批广东省卫生村」的称号授予新围村。[1]
