新围村位于遮浪街道的施公寮半岛，辖2个自然村，总人口1186人，以渔业为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新围在1950年7月同施公寮、芝兰港、西湖三村合并，成立施公寮乡，隶田墘区；1958年改大队，1984年1月复称乡，1987年改管区。1999年新围与西湖从施公寮划出，另设新围村委会。[1]
经济与古迹[edit]
渔业以浅海捕捞为主，农业种水稻、番薯、花生，林业是沿海防护林。辖区里留有新石器时代的拔仔围遗址，以及清代炮台的遗迹。2020年12月获“广东省卫生村”称号。[1]街道正在村里建设智能停车场和旅游驿站。[2]
