南安村位于石潭镇东南部，离石潭圩约20公里，村域面积约9平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村址位于原白湾镇南面，驻地东侧有一座形似马鞍的山，取名马鞍；“鞍”与“安”谐音，遂改称南安。[1]

1974年时属石潭镇联滘大队；1975年改由白湾公社的联山大队管辖；1984年归入南安乡，1986年设南安村委会，1987年改为南安管理区，1998年恢复为村委会。[1]

2003年6月，白湾镇撤销，本村改归石潭镇管辖；2004年10月，群山村委会并入本村，统称南安村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全村共39个村民小组，博雅地名网记为847户、4530人（年份未注明）。[1]

耕地面积2357亩，旱地1642亩，水田715亩；林地32784亩，商品林5751亩，生态林27033亩。境内矿产以铁矿为主。[1]

村子与北安、南楼、中所、中和、东联、东安、街道社区、雷坑、西安、蒲坑、联滘、联合、石湖和白湾村相邻。[1]

2025年5月，南安村列入《清远市清新区全域土地综合整治实施方案（石潭镇单元）》的整治区域。[3]
