龙湾村是广东省阳江市江城区城西街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区，位于漠阳江下游一带。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村后有山起伏如龙，村前三甲河冲激成深湾，相传龙聚居于其中，因而得名龙湾。[2]

沿革[edit]

明初，傅、徐等姓氏自珠玑巷一带迁来，在漠阳江下游冲积而成的河滩上建村，称龙湾。1949年11月设龙湾行政村，1953年属一区龙湾乡，1956年12月起属附城区城西乡。1983年撤公社改设龙湾乡，1987年改为村委会，后又改为管理区；1999年4月复设村委会；2003年8月改属城西街道。[3]

荣誉[edit]

该村在2019年9月名列广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位（2018年度）之中。[1]
