石龙村是元善镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村旁一块形如龙头的大石头，因而称为石龙。[1]

解放后，此地先为连平县附城区石龙乡，后并入惠化公社设石龙大队，再改为惠化区石龙乡；1999年改设元善镇石龙村委会。[1]

2021年12月，石龙村列入广东省卫生村名单，年度为2021年。[1]
