邓村村是元善镇下辖的行政村，村内建有古树公园。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
相传四百年前邓氏族人在此居住。后因姓氏间的纠纷，经与刘氏协商，邓氏迁出，村名邓村即为纪念邓氏而定。[1]
1987年4月，石龙大队中析出一支，单独设立邓村大队；1999年该大队改为村委会。[1]
据元善镇政府网站，邓村村曾被河源市评为文明村。[2]
2026年1月，邓村村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
