地名与沿革[edit]
《斗门百村》记载，村里有一条长石路，东头为龙头，龙尾伸向西南，整体像一条腾飞的龙，村因此称石龙。[1]解放后隶新会县第八区莲溪乡；1965年起称石龙大队，隶属斗门县上横公社；1984年改石龙乡，1986年改石龙村委会；2003年起归莲洲镇，2005年由斗门区民政局命名。[1]
产业与荣誉[edit]
2015年8月，农业部把石龙村的石龙苗木列入第五批全国一村一品示范村镇。[1]2023年11月进入广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村，2024年4月进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]
镇政府的报告说，石龙村成立了全省第一个村级闲置农房市场化托管运营中心。[2]
