江面村是元善镇下辖的行政村，濒临连平河，地势较高而平坦。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取自地势：连平河自上、中、下三段绕村而过，村地较高且开阔平坦，故称江面。[1]
1958年以前此地归石龙乡管辖。1958年大跃进时期，石龙乡析出江面与径口两个大队，此后归并为一个管理区。1984年两村又合在一起，1999年5月起为江面村民委员会。[1]
江面村在2023年广东省卫生村名录之中，命名于2024年3月。[1]
