上寨村是田心镇下辖的行政村，城乡分类为村庄。村中有上寨古榕公园，县政府列为本地的古色旅游资源。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

古时黄氏族人迁居此地，四周都是山，平地上有一座土墩，族人便在墩上建屋聚居，称为“寨”，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，本村归周亨乡管辖。1977年，本村与田心、松林合组为田心大队；1983年重新分立，称上寨大队；此后先后转为村委会与管理区，1999年村委会重设。[1]

荣誉与规划[edit]

2024年3月，村庄被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]

2024年，村庄列入镇里创建美丽宜居村的名单。[2]
