地名由来[edit]
当时以铁场的田南乡，以及龙母的田心乡、田东乡为参照，本村位于它们的北面，故称田北。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后，本村属龙母区管辖的乡。1977年设田北大队，1983年改设乡；此后转为村委会与管理区，1999年村委会重设。[1]
产业与活动[edit]
2022年的镇工作总结提到，田北村鹰嘴桃种植是“一村一品”产业的基地之一。[3] 2024年，镇里举办田北桃花节，作为田心文化节的活动之一。[2]
2024年，村庄列入镇里创建美丽宜居村的名单。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村庄进入2018年广东省民主法治示范名单。2024年3月，村庄被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
