金坑村在螺溪镇西北部，与五华县接壤，1955年被省人民政府批准为红色老苏区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953至1958年间，金坑属金坑大队；1984年撤大队设乡镇府，此后村级机构的名称依次是村委会（1986年）、管理区办事处（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年）。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村域7.14平方千米，辖伯公寨、旱地、地排、长坝4个自然村，170多户，户籍人口850多人，是镇内三个空心村之一，党群服务中心设在南和村。[1]

红色遗址[edit]

金坑是陆河县爱国主义教育基地的组成部分；鸡爪地烈士纪念亭和鸡爪地农会旧址是广东省红色革命遗址。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

伯公寨流转100多亩地种枇杷和鹰嘴桃，2021年村集体经济收入5万多元；2021年9月金坑村入选第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（枇杷）。[1][2]
