金坑村在石狗镇西部，辖14个村民小组，以出产金坑米酒著称。[1]
历史沿革与地名由来[edit]
相传古时村中小溪出产金砂，外地人纷纷前来淘金，人们称此溪为金坑，村名由此而来。前身是1958年成立的金坑生产大队，1987年改设管理区，1998年起称金坑村民委员会。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域面积12.7平方公里，耕地1230亩，人口1514人。[1]
经济[edit]
金坑酒厂用本地大米和山泉水酿酒。村里的纸厂与邻镇邓村古法造纸一脉相承，造纸是农民加工竹木增收的途径之一。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，金坑村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
