历史沿革[edit]
欧田在1954年设乡，是当时的第五村；1958年成大队，1961年一度分成两队，两年后并回，1973年再次析出欧东、欧西，自成一队。此后依次叫村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年），1999年定名为村民委员会。[2]
地理与人口[edit]
村域2.49平方千米，辖欧田圩、石头塘、硁仔里、河背4个自然村，350多户，户籍人口1580多人；它是螺溪镇三个省定贫困村之一。[1]
华侨城·螺溪谷[edit]
景区由深圳市坪山区政府、陆河县政府与华侨城深东集团共建，规划面积570亩，建有火龙广场、欧田书舍等体验空间，2018年6月1日起试运行，2022年12月评为国家3A级旅游景区。[1][3]
荣誉[edit]
汕尾市2020年度市级文明村镇名单在2021年4月公布，欧田村在列；2022年8月被定为广东省民主法治示范村创建单位；2024年4月，被列入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[2]2021年村集体经济收入30万多元。[1]
