历史沿革[edit]
1951年11月并入水口之前，金坑已在1949年3月单独称村；其后1956年11月立金坑农业社，1958年10月再入水口大队，1977年5月才分出，称金坑大队。[1] 1983年它重归水口乡管辖，1989年3月经惠东府〔1989〕123号文批准再次分立，设金坑管理区，1999年起为金坑村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
