金坑村隶属五华县梅林镇（梅州市），位于镇境北部。据博雅地名网，村内设23个村民小组，登记475户、3012人，面积8平方千米，耕地930亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
元朝时叫金城寨，因地处山坑，改称金坑。[1]
金坑一带在1949年设金坑乡，1958年起改设大队；乡政府之称见于1983年，1989年又改称管理区，直到1999年才定为金坑村委会。[2]
经济与荣誉[edit]
- 2023年2月，获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
