城西社区位于海丰县城，紧邻县政府和镇政府，在二环路中段，下辖21个居民小组，常住人口15814人（博雅地名网）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

城西社区的源头是西南乡（1953年）和西南大队（1958年）；1982年分出城西大队，次年改称乡，1987年并入海城镇，改为居委会，2004年起以城西居委会之名沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

社区集体资产共743万元，其中宾馆占465万元，招待所66万元，社区办公用地110万元，小学校舍102万元。2009年的集体收入为60万元，人均4910元。社区所在是热闹的美食街，经济重心放在第三产业。[1]
