村北为虎噉村，东为松林村，南为双河村；地势西高东低，鱼公坑、七娘寨凸海拔最高500米，下寨河自西向东穿村。下辖下寨、下段等9个自然村，耕地约2000亩，林地约500亩，两条村道向东、南通到县道X126，另有水泥路通公平镇西坑社区。户籍325户1624人。[1]
