河东村在黄羌镇东部，南靠合门村，北接黄羌村，西邻里坑村，东与平东镇相连。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域1200公顷，耕地250公顷，林地678.6公顷，下辖麻塘、大塅、下围、柑仔坑、西仙寨、上头洋、西仙坝、青塘、竹戍9个自然村，西仙寨、麻塘、大塅三村为水库移民村。村内有黄平一线、黄平二线和合门公路三条干道，户籍603户2895人。[1]
博雅地名网称村处黄江河汇入公平水库的入口，近年修成黄平公路，形成「一江三路」的格局。[2]
