东门社区是汕尾市城区捷胜镇的社区，位于镇中心东侧。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧称东门村；公社化后叫东村大队，随后与西村、南村、北村合并为捷胜居委会。1990年起从捷胜居委会分出，单独设东门居委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区总面积12.5平方千米，耕地1350亩，其中水田450亩，村民种水稻、蔬菜、花生，并在约200多亩水面养殖淡水鱼虾蟹；社区共4238人（含居民户口1800人）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
