棠红村是广东省江门市开平市龙胜镇中部的行政村，东邻大雄村，南接龙胜墟，西通和兴村、棠安村，北靠镇海林场，地势平坦，省道274线贯穿村境。[1]村委会下设10个自然村，依次可记作二间、大间、乐仁，西元、塘岩，怡里、塘口，以及锦绵、东沙、东门。[1]

博雅地名网记，全村798户、3143人，总面积12345.6亩，耕地3293亩，其中水田3115亩。[1]农业除水稻外，种柑桔、橙、番石榴等水果，养殖以养猪为主。[1]棠红村在2024年3月获命名为广东省卫生村（2023年度）。[1]
村名据说出自一副对联「棠花三月开，红运四季来」，传为帅祐公所题。[1]

百度百科称，村辖的塘岩村有近现代史迹「汇庆庐」，怡里村也有一处代表性建筑。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代时归开平县长静都；民国年间为开平县二区棠红乡；1955年属苍城区棠红乡；1961年划入龙胜公社，名棠红大队；1984年起为龙胜区棠红乡；1989年称管理区；1993年开平撤县设市，属龙胜镇；1999年起设棠红村民委员会。[1]
