历史沿革[edit]
解放初属捷胜区的东沙乡，人民公社时期改为沙坑大队；1989年改管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，全村1728人，耕地共468亩（水田218亩，旱地250亩）。村民原以渔农为生，现多外出打工。村内烟墩山一带有「沙坑文化」之称，是考古旅游地；镇上还建有沙坑文化博物馆。[1][3]
