东门社区是深圳市罗湖区东门街道辖内的社区，位于东门商业区，因处于旧深圳墟的东门而得名，2002年3月由东门、南塘、建北三个居委会合并而成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代深圳墟设东、南、西、北四门，社区所在地正是墟东之门，因而得名。2002年3月25日，东门街道的东门、南塘、建北三个居委会合并成东门社区居委会；社区工作站下设东门、北门两个居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
面积0.72平方公里，东面是东门中路，南面是深南东路，西面是人民公园路和建设路，北面到立新路、新园路一线。[1]
人口[edit]
社区有78栋商住和住宅楼，商铺11286间，居民4539户、17165人，户籍者6565人。[1]
文化[edit]
东门社区在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2022年8月，它被确定为2022年的创建单位，并认定为「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
