村名各取「小寨」的「小」和「上佑」的「佑」一字而成。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949至1957年为小佑乡，1958至1983年属罗浮公社，为小佑大队；1983至1986年称乡政府，1987至1989年称村，1989年设管理区，1999年改为村民委员会。[3]
