村名由镇名的「浮」字加方位「北」而成。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据记载，最早在这里居住的是克姓人家，村子旧称克岗排，又叫铁岗排。1949年成立农会；1951至1957年为浮北乡；1958年改为大队；1984至1987年又作乡；1987年4月称浮北村，1989年9月改为管理区，1999年4月恢复村的名称。[3]
